BIO:

Ethan Fogle is a 5th year Architectural Engineering student with a focus in structural systems at Penn State University. He will graduate in May 2016 with EIT status, both a Bachelor's and Master's of Architectural Engineering, and a minor in Architectural Studies. In the summer of 2016, Ethan will begin his career as a structural engineer at Hammel, Green, and Abrahamson(HGA) in the Washington, DC office.

In his time at Penn State, Ethan has held a part-time position at the Architectural Engineering Research Lab, while studying full-time . He has also been an active executive member of Penn State’s Student Chapter USGBC which led to his participation in the Honduras Project with NECA and the SEED Library Project, combining his love for hands on construction and its ability to make a positive impact on someone's life. During the past summer months, he has applied his in class experience to the outdoors, doing hardscaping for Skip Coulter Landscape Inc. This hands-on experience led to his internship with HGA as a structural intern in the Milwaukee, WI office during the summer of 2015. Apart from learning about the building industry, Ethan also likes to educate himself on growing different types of produce. The team expects avocados from Ethan in the following 3-6 years. If anyone has access to a mature avocado tree, please contact Ethan at the email listed, he needs it for the grafting process.
